Karla: Senior Session

Its that time of the year!!! Fall is my favorite time of the year; Senior photos to family ones, all are so fun with the wonderful colors of Fall. What a beautiful girl Karla is and how blessed I feel to be able to capture her as a Senior. It was such a wonderful day when we met. Beautiful light and awesome backdrops to accent her and her smile! Thank you so much Karla!

Meet the Martins!

Good Morning everyone! I am so excited to share with you the photo shoot of the Martin fam! We had a great time, taking photos at their lake house on Detroit Lake. What a beautiful scene it was, with the lake and mountains in the background. Their little one was full of energy giving us some great looks along the way.

The Burlingame Family

I had a wonderful time shooting the Burlingame family! There little guy gave such a show with his facial expressions. I had to pull out all the stops to find a smile from his. I am sure that other people in the park thought there was something strange going on when they heard my crazy sounds just so that I could get his attention. Rhodidendrian Gardens is where we met up, and let me tell you, it was such a beautiful setting for family photos. I cant wait to go back there!

The shot of the day!

Morgan has yet again been the victim of posing for another photo shoot. My father-in-law has a wonderful living room with beautiful wood floors and huge windows that let in tons of morning light. My mother-in-law requested a photo, with Morgan in the nude laying on white fluffy fabric, which is what got me to do the shoot in the first place (although I really dont need an excuse to take pictures of my precious baby girl). i thought i would show you the pic of the day in color and in black and white.

The first of many - The Lanes Family

This past Sunday, I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with the Lanes...the whole clan!! It was a joy to witness their love for each other by watching them interact with their little ones as well as with each other. Soooo, this afternoon I was able to down load (after tracking down my power cord for my computer) all 800 photos that I took during their 1 hour session on to my lap top. I knew this was going to take a while to edit (and re-edit again), so I started on the first of many. I thought I would share them with all of you because I am SO EXCITED about all of them. You will die when you get a look at their adorable children!! I cant wait to get started on the rest of the photos and once they are done, I will share them with you!

The Best Job!

Morgan is now almost 4 months old and is doing great!! She is changing everyday and I thank God that so far HE has provided a way for me to watch her grow 24/7. It is the best job ever!

Close to the heart

It was my father-in-laws birthday last weekend, so for his present, I took him and his children and Morgan (my baby; his grandchild) out for a family photo shoot. We had a great time, scouting out places that sparked interest. Some were a little crazy but the photos turned out great!

The Norris Family

What a joy it was to photograph this family. Their love showed in person and through the lens. Their youngest daughter started out a little rocky, fighting the flu but she pulled through and gave me huge smiles. Thank you Norris family for being such great subjects...the camera loves you all!!

Introducing my little one!

My husband and I are please to announce our new little one, Morgan Grace, to all of you. She was 8lbs 4oz and 20 1/4 inch. long. She wanted to make sure that she kept us on our toes when she decided to visit the NICU during our stay at the hospital due to low blood sugar. Doctors couldnt understand why it was happening but they got her stable and on our way two days after she was born! She is super healthy, barily loosing any weight from her original birth weight! She also has shown us that she has healthy lungs as well!!!

Holiday Cards!!

Hey everyone!!! I was playing around today with Photoshop to make a holiday card. Its my first one...tell me what you think! If I have done pictures for you in the past, let me know if you would like a personalized, original Holiday Card to put in the mail this year! I will be charging $50 for 25 cards...$75 for 50 cards. Backgrounds are of course personalized for each family!!

Brandon and Ashley

After having to postpone our original date due to weather, we were lucky enough to plan another time to get together the next week with beautiful sunny weather. Brandon and Ashley are such a wonderful couple who each have a 6 year old boy. They were so much fun to be with, both boys having so much energy!
