Personal Time

I had a couple a days off for Thanksgiving holiday. For one of those days I took a personal day and went about looking for some great shots. I found myself on the out skirts of Hillsboro which providing me with great scenery. A great thing (out of many) of why I love living in Portland is because I am minutes away from the farm lands that looks great through a lens. Hope you enjoy!

Winchester Family

I enjoyed a lovely crisp fall afternoon with the Winchester family. The energy that all the kids had was so much fun to photograph. We all met at Rood Bridge Park in Hillsboro and had an hour long session with the beautiful colors to frame the moment. There was a moment I will never forget and that was when Bill (dad) told Jake to put a caterpillar that they found, in his mouth. Of course he did it and made everyone laugh! Thank you so much Christie and Bill for giving me the opportunity to take photos of you all!

Chris Marshall

I had the privilege of taking photos of an amazing and talented vocal artist located in the Portland area who so happens to be my brother . Chris Marshall has  3 brilliant Cd's available and an album that's in the works. We spent a beautiful summer afternoon on the country side taking photos and just enjoying life. Most of the pictures were taken along side Germantown road at an old country church and the rest were taken at an old run down home that we just stumbled upon.
Thank you so much Chris for being a terrific brother and friend. Also thank you for letting me be apart of your journey by capturing you through a lens.

Bryce and Vanessa's wedding

This weekend I had the pleasure of taking pictures for Bryce and Vanessa's wedding (family friends) at my family beach cabin on the Oregon Coast. This was my first wedding that I photographed and I was very nervous but excited to be given this opportunity. I was inspired by the lovely Nicole Wickens, the photographer that shot both of my brothers weddings. She is an absolute brilliant photographer! Bryce and Vanessa's wedding was somewhat spontaneous. They have been engaged for more than a year with no date insight and many obstacles to over come. Their goal in their relationship is to keep it godly and so with much anticipation, they made it official. The wedding, that took only one week to plan, was wonderful. Everything came together like it was planned months ago.  It was a beautiful day despite the fog that rolled in during the ceremony. Lucky for us it went away so that we could to take great pictures. Congratulations to Bryce and Vanessa!!
